Abrasion is the central challenge in bulk solids technology when it comes to wear and thus plant availability. Rubberized surfaces and rubber-based conveyor belts are ubiquitous and are subject to thestrongest wear in a system due to the material.

Since continuous and reliable monitoring is not possible or economical in most cases, spontaneous damage occurs, especially in conveyor technology. This requires immediate action to limit any impairment of production readiness. In addition to mechanical work, technically demanding vulcanisation work has to be carried out in the shortest possible time.

Roskopf has a large and very experienced team of specialists in the field of vulcanisation and accompanying repair and assembly work with an extensive range of services:

  • Emergency repair: 24/7 on-call service on site 365 days a year in case of a sudden damage
  • Planned vulcanisation work on site or in our workshop: e.g. drive, pressure and deflection drums, conveyor belt rollers, rollers, containers, silos, pipeline components, chutes, hopper

In addition to hot vulcanization and cold vulcanization processes, mechanical connections are also used in conveyor belts. Necessary repair materials are available in stock. Our range of rubber products covers all common requirements, sizes and material qualities (e. g. moulded parts, seals, profiles, cuffs, frames, stamped parts, sheet metal and cut-outs).
