  • Representative sampling of biomass

Was the legally required material sampling, such as for biomass prior to combustion, not identified until during or after the plant’s construction? No problem: Roskopf integrates sampling technology into existing plants even after the fact—custom-designed and seamlessly integrated into the process and plant.

  • Sampling in the plastic recycling process

In the processing of plastic flakes, the quality of the material directly determines the value of the recycled material. As a partner in a funding project, we have implemented an automated sampling system that includes an analysis module linked to the process control system.

  • Development of a Representative Sampling and Sample Preparation System

For quality control of bulk materials supplied by external vendors, an automatic, representative and standards-compliant sampling system was to be developed. The system was designed to combine automatic, continuous sampling of the bulk material with subsequent sample preparation and sample collection.

  • Retrofit of an Alternative Fuel Conveying System

Technical systems and equipment inevitably age and eventually require a comprehensive overhaul. In this project, an existing conveying system was refurbished, optimized, fitted with a new steel structure and relocated to a different site. The result: a refurbished and repurposed conveying system for alternative fuels.

  • Sampling from Stationary Bulk Material

How can samples be taken from a truck or railcar efficiently and in compliance with applicable standards? With a bucket and shovel? Better not! Why not use a drill sampler instead? The drill sampler automatically takes representative samples, which can then be individually processed after the sampling operation.

  • Five Belt Conveyors for an Existing Plant

Existing production plants are often expanded with additional components, or existing components are replaced with more efficient equipment. This also affects the existing material feeding system, as demonstrated by this project involving five belt conveyors.

  • A Safer Workplace Through Hazard Checks

Before starting work, employees are required to carry out a final hazard assessment. Our pocket-sized hazard check enables employees to identify potential accident risks, take appropriate preventive measures and become aware of any remaining risks.

  • Overhaul of a Sampler

Whether due to supply shortages or as part of a sustainable maintenance strategy, industrial equipment eventually reaches the end of its service life and requires a comprehensive overhaul. In some cases, however, equipment can be adapted and relocated to another production site, where it can continue to serve its purpose. This was the case in the project presented here.
